Order Lock

Order Lock allows teams to lock an order and its pricing for 30 days without paying upfront. Locked Orders cannot be modified and remain pending while your organization completes its internal approvals, purchase orders, or other purchasing requirements. Production does not begin until the necessary requirements are completed.

What Is Order Lock?

Order Lock allows your team to finalize an order without paying immediately. Once locked, the order and its pricing are preserved for 30 days, and the order cannot be modified.

The resulting Locked Order remains in Pending status while your organization completes its own purchasing procedures, such as obtaining internal approvals, processing a purchase order, or arranging payment. Locking an order does not authorize or initiate production.

How Order Lock Works

  1. Create Your Order: Add products to your cart, review your selections, and proceed to checkout.
  2. Lock the Order: Select the Order Lock option to finalize the order without making an immediate payment.
  3. 30-Day Lock: The order and its pricing are locked for 30 days. Changes cannot be made to the Locked Order.
  4. Pending Status: The order remains visible in your account dashboard with a Pending status. It is not awaiting approval from TeamSeams and has not entered production.
  5. Complete Internal Requirements: Your organization can obtain its own approvals, process purchasing paperwork, or arrange payment while the order remains locked.
  6. Complete the Order: Once your organization's requirements are satisfied, complete the applicable payment or purchase order process so the order can proceed toward production.
