Live Product Previews

Preview custom team uniforms and apparel as you design. See changes to colors, logos, text, and artwork placement in real time.

What Are Live Product Previews?

Live Product Previews provide an interactive visual representation of your customized merchandise within the Online Designer. As you change colors, upload logos, add text, or adjust other design elements, the product mockup updates to reflect your selections.

Instead of waiting for a separate mockup, you can see how the different elements of your design work together while customizing the product. This makes it easier to evaluate color combinations, artwork placement, and personalization before placing an order.

Available preview views and customization options depend on the selected product.

How Live Product Previews Work

Live Product Previews are integrated with the Online Designer's customization tools, allowing you to review changes as you make them.

  1. Select a Product: Choose a customizable product and open it in the Online Designer.
  2. Choose a Starting Design: Select an available Template or begin customizing the product using its supported design options.
  3. Customize Colors: Use Color Swatches to change supported design areas and see the results on the mockup.
  4. Add Artwork and Text: Upload logos, position graphics, and adjust text or other supported elements. The preview reflects these changes as you work.
  5. Review Different Views: Inspect the available product views to evaluate how your design appears across the garment.
  6. Finalize Your Design: Continue making adjustments until you're satisfied, then save your work or proceed with the ordering process.

You can also use Logo Color Match to extract colors from uploaded artwork into your available swatches and apply them to supported design elements.

What Can You Review in a Product Preview?

Live Product Previews help you evaluate several aspects of your design before submitting an order.

  • Colors: Compare color combinations and check how different design areas work together.
  • Logo Placement: Review the position, size, and orientation of uploaded logos and other graphics.
  • Text and Personalization: Check names, numbers, aliases, and other supported text elements for accuracy and placement.
  • Overall Layout: Evaluate the arrangement of patterns, artwork, and other design elements on the product.
  • Product Views: Inspect available front, back, or other views to identify potential design issues.

Making these checks during customization can help identify issues before an order is submitted, reducing the need for corrections later.

Common Uses for Live Product Previews

Team Uniforms and Sports Apparel

Review team colors, logos, player names, numbers, and other design elements on uniforms, warmups, and spirit wear.

Design Comparisons

Experiment with different color combinations, logo sizes, or artwork arrangements to compare design options before selecting a final version.

Stakeholder Review

Use product mockups to discuss proposed designs with coaches, administrators, sponsors, or other stakeholders before submitting an order.

Store Merchandise Preparation

Review customized merchandise before preparing the corresponding product listings for your online store. For more information, see Product List Drafting.

Product Previews and Finished Products

Live Product Previews are digital representations of customized merchandise. They help visualize the design but are not exact guarantees of the finished product's appearance.

Physical materials, printing or decoration methods, garment construction, and production conditions can affect the final result. Colors may appear different on fabric than they do on a screen, and the finished placement or appearance of artwork may vary slightly from the mockup.

Before submitting an order, review all available product views and confirm the accuracy of your logos, colors, text, personalization, and other design details.

If you are not ready to order, use Saved Designs to preserve your work and return to it later.
